Small Groups and Fellowship at Amazing Grace

Moms In Touch
This is a group of moms that get together to pray for their children, for their teachers, administrators, and for their school. Small groups meet together for one hour once a week for a time of praise, thanksgiving and intercessionary prayer for their children. The goal of MIT is to have every school in Anchorage covered in prayer. If you would be interested in joining a group, please contact Jancie Garing at 644-4787.

Choir

Meets Wednesdays, 7 p.m. If you love to sing, come join us. We always need more singers, especially sopranos, tenors, and bass. If you have any choir music at home, please remember to return it. We are especially looking for “What Does the Lord Require?”

Church Chicks
This is an informal name given to periodic fellowship events for all women of Amazing Grace. Hikes, plays, movie nights, parties--all are fair game for the Church Chicks. Keep an eye on the bulletin and newsletter for the next Church Chick event--anyone can organize one!

Other Small Groups
There are also several small groups (book groups, discussion groups, breakfast groups) that are currently full to capacity.  If you would like to start a small group or have an idea for one, please our youth and family minister Gloria Lannen.

Groups that gather for other purposes also fulfill some small group functions.  Some examples include: choir, various classes (Sunday adult forum, yoga, etc.), AG Posse for our youth, and various standing committees.  If you are interested in getting involved but don't see a small group that interests you, talk with Gloria or Chris about what other gatherings at Amazing Grace might be a good fit for you.
