Amazing Grace Notes:
Welcome! For some of you this is “old hat” and for some of you this is a new thing! All are welcome! Invite your friends. Amazing Grace Notes is fun!! We’ve got an action-packed fall! Our great group is going to help produce the Sunday School Christmas musical to be presented on Sunday, December 9th, during the 10:30 service. We rehearse on Wednesdays at 6:15pm from now through October 24th. Our rehearsals end at 6:55 with a quick snack. (The adult choir then meets at 7:00) There will be no rehearsal on October 31st. Then we resume our 6:15pm rehearsals for the month of November.
We will be singing on Sunday, October 28th for Reformation Sunday.
We will sing at both services, 9:00 and 10:30. Children will sing at 10:30 and then go to Sunday School. We will also be singing at the Thanksgiving Eve service on Wednesday, November 21st at 7:00 pm.
We will be ordering a new batch of choir t-shirts. Every choir member needs one because we use them as “uniforms” – so please let me know the size you need. The church purchases these for our choir members but if you would like to “sponsor” your child’s church check with Miss Chris next week about the cost.
Miss Gloria has worked really hard to set up a beautiful page for our musical activities here at Amazing Grace so I will be taking advantage of that. There will be a page just for Amazing Grace Notes with practice and performance schedules, words to songs when possible and other musical tidbits. Be sure to check back often for updates.
Thank you for taking this extra time out of your week for your child to be able to participate in creating worship at Amazing Grace. This is an amazing gift that they give to us.
